Sonia Verma, an editorial board member of The Globe and Mail, has left the newspaper and moved to Doha, Qatar.
Verma moved to join her husband, Wilf Dinnick, who was hired by Al Jazeera English in June to run its online news division from Doha. Verma worked for The Globe and Mail for five years and previously reported from the Middle East.
“I have several offers, and am carefully weighing each before making a decision … So nothing to announce as of yet,” Verma told J-Source in an email.
