Every day I've worked with people who have so much knowledge of and love for this city. An absolute joy, and I will miss the hell out of it.

Dotan will stay with Torotoist for the Toronto mayoral election and tweeted she would miss covering #TOpoli.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Dotan joined Torontoist in September 2008 and rose up the ranks to become the editor. She has also won a National Magazine Award and appears on CBC as Metro Morning’s City Hall political analyst.
“She’ll be bringing her intelligence, energy and curiosity to the newsroom starting Nov. 3,” said Gabe Gonda, head of features and weekend, in the memo.
