TVO’s The Agenda gets a second host
Piya Chattopadhyay has signed on as a second host of TVO’s
flagship current affairs program, The Agenda with Steve Paikin. According to
the TVO press release, Chattopadhyay will fill-in for Paikin, the show’s
longtime anchor and senior editor, throughout the season, as well as anchor The
Agenda‘s summer format.
“On behalf of The Agenda Team, I’d like to extend a
warm welcome to Piya,” Paikin says in the release. “Piya brings with
her a nuanced understanding of the issues we’re putting under the microscope on
the program. I’m looking forward to watching her engage Ontarians with her own
unique approach on the big topics of the day.”
Starting in September, Chattopadhyay will also host TVO’s
Big Ideas. More details on her first appearance will be announced in the coming
weeks, according to TVO.
