UPPERCASE named Magazine of the Year at Alberta Magazines Showcase Awards

UPPERCASE was named the magazine of the year at the Alberta Magazines Showcase Awards. The five-year-old, Calgary-based magazine’s publisher and editor, Janine Vangool, also won the editor of the year award.
Glass Buffalo, a creative writing magazine showcasing University of Alberta student and alumni work, won the best new magazine award.
