Yukon News wins big at Canadian Community Newspaper Awards
The Yukon News won six first-place awards in its circulation category, including best all-around newspaper and best editorial page.
The Yukon News was the big winner at the Canadian Community Newspaper Awards.
The Whitehorse newspaper won six first-place awards in its circulation category, including best all-around newspaper, best editorial page, outstanding columnist, outstanding reporter initiative, best local editorial and best sports photo.
The outstanding campus newspaper award went to University of Alberta’s The Gateway.

The first-place winners will be recognized at an awards ceremony on May 29 during the INK+BEYOND newspaper conference in Charlottetown.
