Toronto Star appoints new Travel and Homes editors
Adam Gutteridge has been appointed the travel editor of the Toronto Star. He replaces Jim Byers, who resigned from the position. The Star also appointed Jane Van Der Voort as editor of the New in Homes & Condos section.
Adam Gutteridge has been appointed the travel editor of the Toronto Star. He replaces Jim Byers, who resigned from the position.
Gutteridge worked in special sections for the past 11 years, editing more than 70 editorial sections including investments and Sick Kids. According to a statement released by the Star, Gutteridge will direct the Thursday and Saturday Travel sections, both online and in print, and supervise the core editorial special sections and special reports.
The Star also appointed Jane Van Der Voort as editor of the New in Homes & Condos section. She has worked with the newspaper for eight years with stints at Starweek, Entertainment, Life and the page desk. She replaces Gale Beeby, who also resigned.
