Angelo Persichilli, the latest person to run Prime Minister Stephen Harper's communications office has stepped down, telling the Globe and Mail that he "couldn't handle that kind of stress".
[node:ad]Last September, Persichilli, then 63, left his jobs as political editor of Italian-language newspaper Corriere Canadese and as a commentator and senior official with Omni-TV in Toronto, to move to Ottawa. He was the 11th person to serve as Harper's senior communications person in 10 years and the sixth person since Harper moved into the PMO.
