Chatelaine editor-in-chief Jane Francisco joining Hearst
Francisco will join Hearst as editor-in-chief of Good Housekeeping, the American women’s lifestyle magazine, on Dec. 2.
Jane Francisco, the editor-in-chief of Chatelaine, has been appointed editor-in-chief of Good Housekeeping, the American women’s lifestyle magazine owned by Hearst.
Francisco replaces Rosemary Ellis, who is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities, Hearst announced in a statement. Francisco joins Hearst on Dec. 2.
“Jane is an incredibly versatile editor, leader and branding expert, with the experience and vision to build on the lively, friendly energy of the revamped Good Housekeeping,” Hearst Magazines president David Carey said. “Chatelaine is the largest circulation women’s magazine in Canada, and we’ve been highly impressed with how Jane executed a top-to-bottom modernization of the brand. We’re thrilled to have her on the Hearst team, leading one of our core titles.”
