Ottawa Sun columnist Susan Sherring running for city council
Sherring, who is on leave from the Sun, will run in Gloucester-South Nepean.
Ottawa Sun journalist Susan Sherring is running for city council.
Sherring, who has spent several years as a city hall columnist and columnist, will run as a candidate in Gloucester-South Nepean.
Sherring told the Ottawa Citizen that her familiarity with the issues at city hall as a journalist prompted her to run and she has heard from readers urging her to do so over the years.
Sherring is on leave from the Sun during the campaign. The election will takes place on Oct. 27.
