Uncles is leaving the Toronto Star, where she was the associate editor for weekends and features, to join Maclean’s.

Alison Uncles will join Maclean’s as deputy editor on Sept. 2
Uncles, who is currently the associate editor for weekends and features at the Toronto Star, will fill the role vacated by Anne Marie Owens, who took the helm of the National Post in June.
