Anchor Danelle Boivin left CTV Regina to join its sister station, CTV Edmonton, as its late-night anchor and breaking-news reporter.

Anchor Danelle Boivin left CTV Regina to join its sister station, CTV Edmonton, as its late-night anchor and breaking-news reporter.

She started her new role on Sept. 15.

“Danelle is a great addition to the CTV News Edmonton team,” said Dan Kobe, director of news and public affairs at CTV Edmonton, in a press release. “Not only does she bring a wealth of experience, she also brings a real understanding of the issues that face Albertans.” 

Boivin is a graduate ofthe Northern Alberta Institute of Technology radio and television arts program. She got her break in the industry at CTV in Lethbridge, Alta., in 2007 and worked at CTV Regina since December 2010.

“It is incredibly rewarding to have the opportunity to be a part of such a talented team and deliver news that matters most to Edmontonians,” said Boivin. “I cannot wait to re-experience Edmonton and look forward to meeting everyone who makes this city what it is.”
