Ed Keenan is joining the Toronto Star as a full-time city columnist.
Previously Keenan was a senior editor at weekly magazine The Grid, which the Star’s parent company, Torstar, decided to shut down after three years earlier this month. Keenan has been nominated eight National Magazine Awards, according to his bio on The Grid.
I'm happy to share the news that in a few weeks I'll be joining the @TorontoStar full-time as a columnist writing about this city.

Correction: An earlier version of this article incorrectly said that Keenan has won eight NMAs. In fact, he has been nominated eight times.
