July 9, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free
Join Cincinnati SPJ and this panel of experts including law enforcement officials and local journalists as they discuss some of the challenges — and solutions — for reporters, photographers and videographers as they cover the news.
With a focus on police/journalist relations — specifically, what can journalists and law enforcement do together in these situations to help de-escalate the situation? In periods of civil unrest like we’re experiencing now, it’s critically important that journalists and police are able do their jobs safely and effectively.
