Shooting War: Covering 50 Years of Conflict

June 21, 2019 @ 6:30 pm

Following on from the work of University of Toronto’s Professor Anthony Feinstein, The Globe and Mail presents Shooting War: Covering 50 Years of Conflict. For the first time in history, photographers covering a stretch of 50-plus years of human conflict, will gather in one place to convey what motivates them professionally and personally.
From Tim Page and his experiences of photographing the so-called last accessible war, Vietnam, to Laurence Geia and her modern-day career in Iraq and Syria, Shooting War, featuring 11 of the world’s best known conflict photographers, will be held in Toronto on the evening of June 21 and all day June 22.
