We’re bursting with pride because of a media move by one of our own. Former J-Source associate editor Tamara Baluja made a big announcement:
Some news about me: I've been awarded the Michener-Deacon Fellowship on journalism education, and I'll be spending time at @UBCJournalism developing a workshop on what else – social media! Needless to say, I'm thrilled to have this honour! https://t.co/JC0YKPHWdC

Hey, #cdnpoli – I am about to cartwheel out of here. Just joking! I can't do cartwheels while nine months pregnant, or ever. But I really am going on parental leave until July 2019. I wish my @CdnPress_Ott colleagues all the best. Please give @janicedickson a warm welcome.

Co-founded the Canadian Anti-Hate Network. Built on a foundation of nonprofit investigative journalism (like the SPLC's Intelligence Project) and goal is to hire more full time researchers/journalists to cover hate groups.
