Gierasimczuk, currently vice-president of editorial and business development at Canada Wide Media, will start his new role on Oct. 1.

Tom Gierasimczuk is the new publisher and general manager of Vancouver Magazine and Western Living.

Currently, Gierasimczuk is vice-president of editorial and business development at Canada Wide Media in Vancouver. He will start his new role at the TC Media publications on Oct. 1.

“Tom is a seasoned and forward-thinking media professional who brings a unique blend of multiplatform content expertise, business acumen, creative thinking and tireless enthusiasm to our organization and to our Vancouver operation,” said Jacqueline Loch, vice-president and group publisher for Toronto and Vancouver at TC Media. “We are delighted to have him join our team to lead the talented teams at Vancouver Magazine and Western Living.”

Gierasimczuk takes over for Lori Chalmers, who retired recently.

Samantha Legge, president of Canada Wide Media, told J-Source Gierasimczuk’s replacement has not yet been named.
