Former CBC National radio news and current affairs senior producer Thomas Rose will join the school first. He will teach the course "Journalism, human rights, and international development" for the Masters program.

In the winter term, Michael Valpy will also join the school as a CanWest fellow. Valpy has won three National Newspaper Awards and is well-known for his work at the Globe and Mail. More details on his post will be sent out closer to the start of the winter term.
