The University of Western Ontario journalism graduate program, in partnership with the CBC, is the winner of the 2011 Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Media Award.

The University of Western Ontario journalism graduate program, in partnership with the CBC, is the winner of the 2011 Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Media Award.

The award honours journalists and/or media organizations for excellent coverage of issues related to hospice, palliative, and end-of-life care in Canada.

The award was presented Sept. 8 in St. John's, Newfoundland.
