    The Globe and Mail names Sylvia Stead as its first public editor

    The Globe and Mail has appointed Sylvia Stead as its first public editor. Stead, who will be reporting to editor-in-chief John Stackhouse as well as the publisher as needed, will start in the new position at Canada’s largest national newspaper on Jan 23.
