Co-hosted by PEN America and Hearken, join newsrooms leaders from Vox, Reuters, and The New York Times to exchange ideas and learn concrete strategies for how to better protect and support staff in preparing for, responding to, and mitigating the damage of online abuse.

ScienceWriters2020 will be held virtually in October, with a core program the week of Oct. 19-23 as well as other satellite events throughout the month. Your registration fee covers all of these events. Many events will be recorded, and your registration includes the ability to access video of any archived sessions for six months post-conference. A small number of satellite events are limited attendance, and you will have the option to select these during registration. Limited attendance events are denoted on the schedule.
This workshop is free and open to the public, and is designed to equip voters with the tools to identify misleading content and to help prevent the spread of misinformation. This virtual event is co-sponsored by All Voting is Local and Respeta Mi Gente.
